The Singapore "New malls" journey

Isn't this little guy cute?. Got him for $10 at Commonwealth Station at the exit. Was approached by a ex-convict who was selling these things. It feels good to do charity once in awhile to help those. What a coincidence that 8 years back, many suffered. So let's give back. Because we are the world, we are the ones to make a brighter day, so let's start giving.

Went mall-touring with Daisy bestie today. Yes yes, I know I normally don't do this.. First stop - ION Orchard! Initially we wanted to visit our dear friend Brendon (StrawLover) who was supposed to be working at Burger King. To our much disappointment he's on hygiene course at Peace Center.(where's that?)

No offence to the planners of ION Orchard, but interior wise - it was really really badly planned and designed. I do think other people could have done a better job. You're giving people the feel of being really small in ION Orchard, furthermore it's really confusing.

After walking for ages, we found the way out (finally!) and thereafter walked to Orchard Cineleisure for KFC Lunch. Daisy wanted to watch a movie. It was a real impromptu thing, so we decided to watch "The Time Traveller's Wife", probably the most decent one around other than "The Proposal".

Since Orchard Central, the new mall was in the vicinity, we decided to go there! Was really really cool. From Level 1 to 3 to 4 to 7 and to 11 in the future. Here's some pictures.

The long long escalator from Level 4 to 7.

Surprised to see this in the urban landscape of Orchard Road!

Part of the art exhibition at Orchard Central, how cool!

To complete our new malls journey, we decided to go visit Iluma. Nothing much about that place. Feels good to be in it, although there are not many shops there, and it's quite empty too :[ Not too hungry after touring, so we decided to take a ride on the MRT back to Woodlands.

In the process Daisy gave up her seat to an elderly. How nice of her! :D Feel really good, she was really grateful for it. Haha, all Singaporeans should practise courtesy! At the same time we saw Solomon on the train, what a small world! LOL.

That's all for today!
