station names

with note to NickLim's post (http://thelegacyofme.blogspot.com/), the rules for station naming should:


*Identify the location readily so that all commuters can easily remember the names and identify the area of the station
* Illustrate the history and heritage of the station surroundings if relevant
* Reflect the multi-racial, multi-cultural character of Singapore if possible.
Also, stations should not be named after public structures, or commercial and residential developments.

In that case, let's see. If Duchess is renamed Hwa Chong, let's see what names will be nice for the stations.

Boon Lay to Jurong Point
Lakeside to Yuan Ching
Dover to Singapore Poly
Commonwealth to New Town (or whatever school is there)
Outram Park to SGH
Tanjong Pagar to Maxwell
Kallang to Geylang West
Aljunied to Geylang East
Bedok to Bedok West

Bukit Batok to West Mall
Yishun to Yishun North
Khatib to Yishun South
Tanah Merah to Bedok East

so on so forth..
